This wine is a very pale rose-gold color with brilliant clarity. The wine opens with classic aromas of watermelon rind and wild strawberry, and the first sip holds hints of exotic tropical fruits. The Mourvedre imparts a flinty minerality that adds complexity and elegance. The palate strikes a fine line between opulence and elegance and the watermelon aromas on the nose persists through to the palate, balanced by notes of stone fruit, wild herbs, salinity and bright, crisp acidity.

The 2019 Malene Rosé is incredibly expressive on the nose, leaping from the glass with intense notes of peach, white grapefruit, and peony. On the palate, the wine is bright and lively with juicy notes of strawberry and nectarine that lead to a crisp and refreshing finish that evokes a fresh ocean breeze.
The 2018 vintage is the cuvée most reminiscent of Provence to date. On the nose, the wine has a purity of fruit with notes of white peach, citrus and wet stones. The wine blooms on the palate with flavors of ripe stone fruit, cantaloupe, and tangy citrus. The wine's texture declares its California origins with opulence, plenty of mid-palate texture and an elegant finish.
Grenache Noir is a traditional component of classic Rosé and one of our favorite varietals when bottled on its own. Our 2018 Grenache Noir displays the exuberant black fruit flavors and rich, spice characteristics typically found in Grenache from cool coastal climates. The aromas are bright and bursting with notes of black raspberry, pie crust, and bay leaf on the nose. On the palate, the wine has vibrant acidity, fine-grained tannins, and notes of cracked white pepper and black cherries. This wine will pair well with cuisine ranging from eggplant parmesan to spicy pork tacos and can be aged for up to five years.
